a sharp look at the environmental affairs of state in the country.... (hello guimaras rescuers)

a commentary by Prof Yusuf Ali

funny it is to say, but the recent environmental spillover in guimaras could have been relatively solved in several ways easier that now.... environmental awraeness and strict monitoring of the environmental and maritime laws.
now that the oil has spilled off, theres a much cheaper way to clean the oil and to even perhaps retrieve a portion of it... using biodegradable materials but fact is because suppliers wouldnt earn from the cheap biodegradable absorber, it has never been put to use to seep the oil in Guimaras.

what about it folks, try using dayami, sawdust and palay husk? and you will see that it is more cheaper that the industrial cleaners that the capitalist market has to offer.

now our government has a choice.... use biodegradable cheap cleaning materials to help save guimaras, or still wait for the cutthroat rates of the chemical merchants....

lets salute also the men in uniform for doing their best in spite of their meagre resources to help save the environment....
